Job Description:

Polygraph Examiner
  • Clearance: Must meet eligibility requirements for TS/SCI and to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
  • Location: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO
  • Education: Bachelors or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Years of Experience: 11-14 years
  • Overview: Conduct polygraph examinations (Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP) or Expanded Screening Scope (ESS)) in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessments (NCCA) Standards
  • Required Certifications: Must have and maintain Federal Polygraph Certification

  • Conduct polygraph examinations (counterintelligence scope polygraph (CSP) or expanded screening scope (ESS)) in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessments (NCCA) standards.
  • Adhere to the Quality Control Examiner's (QCE) guidance during a test.
  • Accurately document the results and admissions of each test.
  • Record and file the results in the Personnel Security file system of record.
  • Immediately after the exam, report any areas of concern to the Quality Control Examiner (QCE) and apply the guidance provided by the QCE.
  • Conduct a minimum of two CSP exams per eight hours of work scheduled or one ESS exam per eight hours of work scheduled, unless directed otherwise by the QCE.
  • Assist in execution of the customer's polygraph program in accordance with DoD

Required Qualifications:
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information *US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED* and obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within related field
  • Must have and maintain Federal Polygraph Certification
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting and administering CI scope polygraph examinations and Expanded Scope Screening polygraph examinations to agency military, civilian and contractor personnel in accordance with agency's policies, regulations, and operating instructions
  • Proven expertise preparing, submitting, and maintaining clear comprehensive concise and accurate polygraph charts and test results according to Federal regulations
  • Proficient at making the necessary data entry of polygraph documentation as required by regulations and agency policies
  • Experience delivering the polygraph examination report in the format prescribed, in a `logical, articulate fashion, that accurately documents the results and admissions of each polygraph examination administered by the end of each day the exam was conducted
  • Excellent customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven communication skills - verbal, written and listening
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Able to work effectively according to a schedule and with minimal direction
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
