Department Overview

The Global Security Analyst III provides a broad range of physical security and operational support related to TD's security and risk programs. Develops and evaluates documentation and procedures to ensure standards and processes meet the business needs to identify security risks and vulnerabilities across all TDBG locations. Supports investigations, risk assessments, policy and program development, including attestations, investigations, risk mitigation, life safety and security programs, and coordinating with internal and external partners. The site security role will be responsible for serving as the key point of contact for all security related issues at 1V as well as other corporate and retail locations within the NY metro area.

Job Description

Experienced working professional role providing services, advisory or processes / program support
Work with Security peers as well as members of the real estate, legal and human resources organizations
Requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within respective area and knowledge of broader related areas
Support the physical security element to ensure a safe and secure environment for TD AMCB's people and property through several measures.
Support complex security improvement programs across business units and TD sites.

Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area
Leads projects or work streams within broader projects with moderate risk and may be accountable for ongoing activities, processes and functional programs
Works within broad guidelines / policies and independently performs tasks from end to end
Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision
Maintain relationships with Federal, State and Local law enforcement and other government agencies in support of private-public partnership
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
3+ years relevant experience
10+ years' experience in corporate security
Solid knowledge of physical security and crime prevention methods, regulatory environment, banking industry, products, services, systems and reporting
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
Knowledge of current and emerging trends
Skill in conducting tests and inspections of products, services, systems, equipment and processes to evaluate quality or performance
Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions
Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and mentor/coach others
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
