Regional Director (Emerging Leader Program)

Job Description

The Retail business unit supports our company's purpose by ensuring we have products and services that our customers and patients need and deliver them with a high-quality service model. As a Regional Director - Emerging Leader, you will be entering a 1-year introductory program aimed to prepare you, at the end of the successful completion of the program, to assume a first assignment in the position of Regional Director and the leadership of a market of approximately 150 locations across multiple states, which may include upwards of 3500 colleagues. During the approximately one-year introductory Emerging Leader program, you will be assigned to the Retail Division where you currently reside for the time you are in the program. Upon completion of the Emerging Leader program and/or readiness is achieved to assume a region assignment you will need to be flexible to accept a region assignment anywhere in the United States (relocation assistance will be provided). Failure to successfully complete the program and/or declining a market assignment post program completion may result in termination of employment.
As Regional Director, you would report to the Division Vice President with responsibility to develop and implement strategies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of retail stores. You are relied upon to collaborate with leaders in Store Operations, Logistics, Real Estate, Merchandising and Human Resources to deliver sales, margin, and service results that position our company for success.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years multi-unit management experience required
• Successful leadership in a highly matrixed multi-unit environment. Relevant sectors include, but are not limited to, Retail, Healthcare, Consumer Product Groups, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals.
• relied upon to collaborate with leaders in Store Operations, Logistics, Real Estate, Merchandising and Human Resources to deliver sales, margin, and service results that position our company for success.

• Successful leadership in a highly matrixed multi-unit environment. Relevant sectors include, but are not limited to, Retail, Healthcare, Consumer Product Groups, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to understand and break down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions in real time. Record of actively taking on issues in a significant manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind.
• Demonstrated abilities to perform in a rapidly changing environment, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple 'customers' of the business.
• Track record of building high performing teams and developing key talent. Demonstrated real passion for bringing new leaders along and helping them to realize their ability to impact the business.
• Collaborate effectively across different business functions, perspectives, and styles of leadership
