Scientist I, Analytical Development - Bioassays

Job Description

In this Scientist role within the Bioassay group in Analytical Development, youwill be responsible for the development of cell-based functional assays and other biological activity and process impurity assays for biologics drug candidates at all stages of development. You will design, perform and analyze experiments for multiple projects. You will also contribute to new technology implementation. Preparation of technical documents/reports and presentation of scientific data are required. This role requires an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**This role can be located in either Cambridge, MA or Research Triangle Park, NC**



Who You Are

You are a passionate scientist looking to further developyour career in analytical development -- particularly with immunoassays and release assays. You have a strong background in cell biology, protein biochemistry, and/or molecular biology and have a proven ability to develop biological assays including cell-based assays, biochemical binding assays, and Q-PCR.

Technical Aptitude
  • Experience with various detection technologies (colorimetric, fluorescence, luminescence, ECL, etc.)
  • Experience with preparation of development reports and standard protocols
  • Familiar with statistical approaches to data analysis for biological assays
  • Knowledge and experience in gene therapy, a plus

  • Ph.D. with 0+ years of post-degree work experiences OR
  • MS with 4+years of post-degree work experiences OR
  • BS with 6+ years of post-degree work experiences
