POSITION PROFILE

Be the face of the assigned portfolio to the organization. Responsible for portfolio strategy and implementation for the assigned portfolio. Develop and manage all aspects of the portfolio marketing strategy. Ensure the portfolio achieves or exceeds performance goals by implementing sales, marketing, and promotion strategies. Ensure the portfolio remains competitive and compelling through-out its life cycle.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire, train, and develop a team of people to manage assigned portfolio.
• Manage the multiple components of the portfolio to ensure it delivers market and financial objectives. Consider the pricing, promotion, sales, and marketing strategies to deliver the outcomes.
• Work with the VOC team and develop mechanisms to disseminate the market landscape information so the organization can deliver superior performance.
• Plan and execute regularly scheduled internal portfolio launch meetings and roadmap meetings.
• Implement a mechanism to provide product strategy with market insights and data to enhance product development and success.
• Seed the market through the product development cycle to drive successful product launches. Measure and report on the impact of the program.
• Ensure portfolio are effectively launched with particular focus on pricing, positioning, and competitiveness
• Provide the GTM teams the portfolio strategy, value statement, story, and market insight including opportunities and challenges. Recommend mitigation and positioning strategies.
• Provide sales training and support by articulating a portfolio vision and strategy. Ensure the sales organization understands the vision and can communicate its value.
• Develop and implement programs to drive increased customer and market feedback to the organization specifically RCL, Product Development, and Product Strategy
• Ensure portfolio stories/messages are effectively communicated throughout the organization and the market.
• Measure Portfolio performance and when appropriate implement enhancement and/or mitigation strategies. Provide reliable forecast reports to the organization to anticipate year-end performance.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university
• 5+ years of successful sale and/or marketing experience.
• Portfolio specific market experience desired.
• Understanding of GTM strategies a plus.
• Understanding the sales cycles and product lifecycles and their respective pressures on the marketing functions to drive demand and revenue.
