PGIM Real Estate is seeking a Enterprise Solutions Architect to work with the Global Innovation Team and help modernize PGIM Real Estate’s technology stack to optimally balance various aspects of the business functions. This position will play a critical role in the evolution and growth of PGIM Real Estate’s business and is directly aligned to the firm’s commitment to proactively and innovatively meet challenges and seize opportunities by effectively leveraging data, analytics, and technology.

Description:

This position will require individuals with a firm holistic understanding of both the operational and technical aspects of enterprise architecture. The role will be to create an overview of our assets and processes and create a future state view that will increase our stability and prepare us for future modernization. It will also prepare one or more architecture models and partner with our business and technology leaders to establish baselines and benchmarks.

The role would work across the technology group, the data and analytics group and the innovation/proptech group reporting to the Global Head of Innovation. We are a global business with 30+ offices globally. We are flexible on location including locations where we have offices as well as a remote working arrangement for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyze PGIM Real Estate’s current architecture by investigating its components and how they are organized within a system. Evaluate strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for modernization of current architecture based on overall business strategy and technology alignment
  • Propose modern technical solutions to improve current architecture and help decision makers make relevant decisions. Construct clear business case, transition plan, cost benefit analysis and present to decision makers in alignment with business strategy for modernization
  • Own future state architecture vision and create a practical roadmap to modernize our processes
  • Introduce standards and best practices that allows different teams to effectively collaborate and iteratively implement solutions including widely recognized enterprise architecture frameworks, agile methodology, development best practices etc.
  • Research emerging trends and ideas and evaluate new innovative technologies that can be applied to improve business processes and increase efficiency
  • Continually explore ways to reduce IT costs and technical debt while adhering to modern architecture principles
  • Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of working experience in one or multiple IT areas with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise/solutions software architecture and design.
  • Experience in Infrastructure-As-A-Service and cloud development
  • Experience rolling out new technologies and solutions org wide ensuring best practices and future success.
  • Good experience with DevOps tools and processes including support and monitoring tools
  • Experience implementing Agile methodologies and iteratively developing large scale projects
  • Excellent understanding of industry best practices regarding systems engineering and architecture
  • Ability to bring ‘big picture’ perspective to adoption of new ideas
  • Deep analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills along with project and resource management skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate, an innovation mindset and the ability to help implement change
