Position Overview:
  • Provide strategic leadership toward the development, implementation, and assessment of agency-level strategy.
  • Work with executive leadership to coordinate and execute strategic engagements with Agency strategy partners throughout the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.
  • Build and sustain Strategy Community of Practice (SCoP) sponsorship.
  • Assist in defining SCoP purpose and mission.
  • Define SCoP community identity.
  • Develop Agency and Intelligence Community themes for SCoP Quarterly meetings, relevant to national strategic competition challenges.
  • Set-up and establish SCoP governance.
  • Facilitate SCoP core planning meetings
  • Define membership and develop member listing for SCoP.
  • Establish SCoP communication mechanisms.
  • Establish knowledge process for SCoP.
  • Hold quarterly knowledge sharing events.
  • Share progress against goals, objectives, and Exepected Accomplishments.
  • Invite and arrange for relevant guest speakers.
  • Gain virtual collaboration tools.
  • Provide website/resource access to SCoP members.
  • Establish forums for ongoing conversations between members and interested parties.
  • Provide consistent lexicon and language.
  • Prepare messages, calendar invites, briefing slides, Sharepoint/website postings and updates, taskers and staff packages, and other visuals as necessary.
  • Provide support for scheduling rooms, meetings, invitations, document notes of meetings, and identifying/arranging external meetings.
  • Track and ensure Chief Strategy Engagement participation in DoD and IC community of interest forums.
  • Arrange and facilitate visits to local labs, academia, and industry events.
  • Facilitate meetings/discussions/workshops on strategy and community topics.
  • Recommend for development and implementation the Strategy Management Curriculum.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited University and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with willingness to upgrade to CI Poly.
  • At least 24 months demonstrated experience in reviewing and analyzing high-level strategy and governance documents.
  • At least 3 years demonstrated experience leading others in executing strategic communication tasks.
  • Must have intermediate level proficiency in MS office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). #CJ
