Digital Project Manager - Abbott Nutrition - Columbus, OH

Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Digital Project Manager: Development and execution of larger (category A) project/program plans, estimates and timelines from initiation through completion (in partnership with development team). Responsible for breaking down problems to optimize and execute processes that support the design of digital programs. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, has strong attention to detail, and is a proactive problem solver with the ability to influence, contribute and make a positive impact to the overall business.


  • Responsible for the consistent execution of project plans, timelines and budgets (across large category "A" projects), and ensuring the agency and brand teams are adhering to both
  • Provide project management discipline perspective to all dialogs and decisions that affect overall internal agency health
  • Accountable for running project status meetings
  • Responsible for scheduling internal kick-off meetings, creative reviews, etc., and providing status recap of each
  • Responsible for working with Account Management and Operations to execute monthly billing
  • Work to break problems down into manageable parts to reach a solution that works for all stakeholders
  • Accountable for providing project guidance and mitigation of risks/issues
  • Understanding of the development and design process that goes into creation of digital programs
  • Working closely with the development partner to ensure a seamless hand-off from creative through launch, including helping to identify efficiencies and ensuring the final deliverable is executed with excellence
  • Create governance model and align brands to ensure overall communications, deliverables and review processes are efficient

  • Project management
    • Advanced in Microsoft Office including Excel and Microsoft Project
    • Familiar with Project Management tools such as Wrike, Jira, etc.
  • Solutions oriented
  • Must be successful in collaboratively working directly with clients and external partners
  • Knowledge of health care and/or CPG marketing, markets, and products
  • Get it done attitude
    • Must have proven ability to orchestrate teams to get work done regardless of roadblocks. This may require direct conversations with stakeholders to break down barriers and develop alternate plans
  • Experience with risk management, governance, change management, communications management
  • Must have first-hand experience working with agencies, UX, developers and designers, etc. and understanding the process as it applies to launching websites, apps and emails/CRM
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization to lead and influence a wide range of people
    • Must be politically astute, able to influence a wide spectrum of people with divergent opinions, responsibilities, and business drivers to support
  • Strong communication skills


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-7+ years' experience in agency in Project Management; 5+ years directly working in a digital environment
