Provides facilities clinical support to WellMed Enterprise. Supports Environmental, Health, and Safety for the Enterprise as well as the Environment of Care. Identifies, researches, and resolves facilities problems outside of ordinary maintenance. Responds to requests by e-mail or telephone for facilities support. Documents, tracks, and monitors assigned requests to ensure resolution in a timely manner. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Facilitates smooth opening/transition of new and/or acquired sites.

Managing and completing assigned work orders related to environmental care-joint commission accreditation. Addressing cleaning issues in the clinic or with cleaning vendors. Inspecting clinics for care, safety and environmental compliance. The project coordinator will also execute process improvement activities for maintenance of the environmental care. Will travel to different sites locally. Out of town travel consists of 2 days a month or more depending on need.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support of Environment of Care compliance activities to support the Joint Commission Accreditation
  • Coordinates performance improvement activities for Facilities support of the Environment of Care
  • Manages assigned work orders in ServiceNow (or other software). Completes notes and closes work orders to customer's satisfaction
  • Responds to telephone calls and e-mails for Facilities clinical support. Escalates issues to management when necessary
  • Orders materials and services when needed, obtaining appropriate approvals when necessary
  • Performs assigned site visits and inspections, using correct reporting tools
  • Monitors performance of service providers and material suppliers. Facilitates re-sourcing activities where applicable
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current driver's license
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities support
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Intermediate skills MS Office applications
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with ServiceNow application
  • Experience with clinical/ healthcare facilities
  • Experience with Joint Commission compliance
  • Facilities maintenance experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work orders
  • Ability and willingness to work irregular hours on occasion
  • Ability and willingness to travel (35%). Position involves traveling to different sites on an as needed basis. Out of town travel possibly 2 days per month or more depending on need
