Key Programs and/or Capabilities:


Support FY22 Environmental initiatives regarding data management to implement and manage stewardship initiatives in Antarctica. Opportunity to learn about science & research management, science in remote locations; government support contract for National Science Foundation and the US Antarctic Program (USAP). Primary Responsibilities:

Work with Environmental Engineer (assigned Data Management Lead) to improve and streamline impact data for developing a more accurate picture of the USAPs environmental stewardship in the Antarctic. Position will support compilation of data relevant to Antarctic Treaty support (www.ats.aq).

Required Qualifications:

Prior data management experience (minimum Microsoft Excel), good writing skills, environmental major (science, engineering, etc.), and at least a sophomore in accredited college/university.

Candidates must be enrolled in a degree program or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Your GPA needs to be included on your application and resume.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 36 hours of Environmental coursework successfully completed.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $38,400.00 - $52,000.00 - $65,600.00
