You are invited to be part of the best and brightest Missile Engineers who plays an active role in the assessment and evaluation of all aspects of the SM3 missile as well as the interfaces and communications between the missile and the Aegis Weapons System.

PARSONS was awarded TEAMS Next recently as the Defense Technology Solutions provider for the next 7+ years. Supporting the development of a highly integrated and effective MDS capability to defend the United States, deployed forces, allies, and friends against missile threats in all phases of flight.

What You Will Be Doing With US:
  • Be part of the leading edge of the most successful missile defense program in DOD.
  • Interface between the TEAMS SE Program Manager (PM), the Deputy Program Manager (DPM), and/or the Site Manager as well as the SE Branch Manager's Staff for the assigned organization within the Missile Defense Agency.
  • Coordinate with the MDA Stakeholders supported by the staff within the assigned organization to address issues as needed.
  • Responsible for the technical assessment of SM3 missile elements as they relate to the Aegis Weapons System in the execution of the Missile Defense Mission.
  • Responsible for evaluating post and pre mission assessments as they relate to the SM3 family of missiles and providing technical recommendations to the Program Chief Engineer and Program Manager.
  • Participate in budget planning and schedule development.
  • Serve as principal advisor to the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager and Chief Engineer on all programmatic, technical and other matters.
  • Assist in the prioritization of workforce and other resources to resolve complex scheduling and funding shortfalls to meet emergent deliveries of Aegis BMD systems.
  • Manage organizational interactions with various customers (NAVSEA, PEO C4I/IWS, industry partners, OPNAV, Fleet Staffs and other teaming partners) to develop and execute safe and efficient installations on Cruisers and Destroyers.
  • In concert with Assist and support the PM, DPM and CHENG, in managing the procurement portfolio including POM, budget builds, and financial execution as it relates to fielding and modernization efforts.
  • Participate in/lead an inter-departmental and divisional weekly synchronization meeting to better align MDA SB/WS Fleet support and Sustainment initiatives.
  • Generate and deliver executive level briefing materials to include MDA SB/WS position on major projects to the AMOD ESG.
  • Coordinate and assist in managing ship integration requirements as they may apply to the anti-hypersonic mission.
  • Coordinate and manage MDA SB/WS production requirements with IWS1AP or other shore-based establishment's production team for material and installations occurring on Navy contracts.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholder Team Leads (STLs) as needed for duties assigned to Parsons staff

What We Need from You:
  • US Citizenship with Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 12+ years of related supervisory experience
  • Experience resolving both short- and long-term issues relating to integration efforts across the Aegis enterprise (those that affect the Missile Defense Mission)
  • Experience managing procurement portfolio including POM, budget builds, and financial execution as it relates to fielding and modernization efforts.
  • Ability to Understand Subcontractor relationships and business goals
  • Experience mentoring and cross-training within the staff; seek opportunities for all staff to grow and learn

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Active-duty experience in the Navy as a Fire Controlman, Aegis Qualified Officer.
  • Experience in the translation of requirements to physical Software code which will work outside of the laboratory.
