Job Description

Recommends and develops policies for inspection standards concerning dosimetry processing and reporting compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and for emergency procedures where dosimetry devices are used to determine radiation exposure. Stays abreast of federal, state, local, and industry radiation protection regulations and ensures that radiation levels are in compliance with standards. Understand, monitor, and comply with the Quality System (QS), and perform associated QS duties. Identify departures from the QS or procedures. Halt work upon identification of nonconformities, when necessary. Identify potential corrective actions and effect immediate corrective action(s), when necessary. Develop and maintain QS documents, e.g., procedures, drawings, software, specifications, technical studies, instructions, manuals, etc., as required. Performs quality surveillances, audits, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of the QS and program activities.

Basic Qualifications

9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
