LIMS Team Lead II

ROLE SUMMARY

The LIMS Team Lead II will operate in a fast-paced environment supporting Andover site Quality operations through the configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of the LabWare LIMS application.

The STS LIMS group structures incoming work into subteams based on similar LIMS object types, configuration, business processes and functional areas. The incumbent in this position will oversee this subset of LIMS work and the work of a small group of individuals assigned based on the scope of the subteam/project.

The incumbent in this position is expected to utilize their own subject matter expertise (SME) and business acumen, in collaboration with other functional area SMEs, to configure LIMS to support business processes.

The incumbent in this position will define requirements, scope, prioritize and implement LIMS solutions in compliance with site, procedures, system URS/FRS as well as corporate, regulatory, and industry standards and regulations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide support to all functional areas who utilize the LabWare LIMS system.
    • Consulting on LabWare capability and solutions for customer requirements/issue resolution
    • Negotiating effective strategies and plans to implement solutions
    • Prioritization, tracking, overcoming obstacles and implementation
  • Support LabWare LIMS configuration and procedural changes that enhance safety, compliance, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating with customers and peers to develop achievable work plans for the defined scope of LIMS objects
  • Customer management and issue resolution/escalation
  • Technical oversight and review to ensure configuration standards, data integrity and compliance standards are followed
  • Maintain and improve work management system, SOPs and business processes


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in science (Computer Science preferred) or related field with 4+ years of industry experience.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong computer skills
  • cGMP Experience
  • Technical experience (at least one of the following: Coding (e.g. VBA, SQL), database management, or other relevant technical experience
  • Dedicated and team oriented individual, who is highly motivated, proactive, assertive, accountable and with strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • Experience with LabWare LIMS or similar LIMS application
  • Experience with QC laboratory, QA. Manufacturing and/or related LIMS business processes
