SUMMARY

Experienced professional with over 7 years of experience in Financial Planning, Accounting and/or business-support. Demonstrated track record of achievement in financial and commercial finance, with strong people and communication skills and ability to interact with diverse and senior levels of the organization. Ability to analyze and interpret financial figures and explain implications of numbers to the business. Proactively recommend and facilitate decision-making process beyond financial reporting and accounting. Strong ability to interact and properly communicate with Distributors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Individual is responsible for providing support to the Infectious Disease US commercial Organization with a focus on Corporate Accounts and Marketing teams. Key activities include Distributor contract analytics, Forecasting price, decision support and other analytics. Manages 1 direct report.

Corporate Account Team support


  • Financial support to define, implement, track and analyze Distributors KPI's.


  • Track GPO (Group Purchase Organization) admin fees to analyze performance, verify data accuracy and properly payments


  • Key partner in contract negotiations, Admin fee financial modeling and others.


  • Support IDN (Integrated Delivery Network) performance analysis.


  • Assist with financial analysis and reports for Distributors.


  • Business reviews regarding DOH, sales performance by product, KPI and incentives.


  • Evaluate strategic decisions regarding discounts, inventories, promotions and SPIFF.



Marketing Team support / Pricing


  • Support Marketing team to include in their product forecast different variables that could impact product sales as competitor product launches and backorders.


  • Model financial implications of promotions to end customers.


  • Contribute to the pricing definition based on reimbursement, competitor actions, market behavior and others.


  • Support Market size and Market share forecast for main products.



Pricing Business support


  • Provide analysis of historical financials, historical pricing, variance explanations of business drivers and help identify what levelers may be pulled to optimize performance and meet business goals. Support pricing.


  • Develop profitability/pricing analysis for IDD product portfolio, price increases/decrease analysis, product launches, distributor promotional programs, instrument placements, changes in distribution channels and/or product lines to influence and counsel business stakeholders on appropriate business strategies and pricing decisions.


  • Coordinate with business partners to forecast Average Standard Prices (ASPs) to be utilized in LBEs and Confirmations in addition to providing insightful analysis of historical pricing performance. ASP forecasted based on actual contracts, trends, product allocation, promotional activities, competitor analysis, market segmentation and others.



Educational/Experiential background:


  • Masters or Bachelor in Finance or Accounting.


  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry would be an asset.


  • 7 + years of accounting, auditing, finance or commercial Finance experience.


  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.



Technical Knowledge, Abilities & Skills:


  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.


  • Individual must be self-motivated with great follow-up skills and be able to work independently.


  • Excellent stakeholder management skills are required


  • Ability to integrate perspectives with strong sense of ownership and focus on results


  • Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage multiple work processes and projects.


  • Strong analytic skills, conceptual thinking, ability to analyze and problem solve with incomplete or ambiguous data.


  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint and Proficient in Access and Word.


  • Experience with SAP, BW and PowerBI desired.
