Job Summary
The Senior Programmatic Product Manager role will drive the growth of Effectv's Programmatic offerings by developing and then productizing new capabilities that establish Effectv as a leader in the Programmatic space and arm our sellers with the most effective set of programmatic offerings to pitch to their clients.

The individual selected for this role will own Effectv's Programmatic Roadmap, building business cases and analyses that will inform with whom Effectv partners, the inventory we enable and the new customer segments/markets we will pursue. This role will partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Technology, Operations and Yield teams to implement and productize these strategies in ways that will allow Effectv's Programmatic business to scale. Additionally, the ideal candidate can work independently and is comfortable utilizing data and insights to identify and recommend opportunities and solutions. Job Description

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the long-term strategy and manage high-level relationships with DSPs, SSPs, Agencies, and Clients
  • Spearhead thought leadership across the organization for programmatic opportunities and act as the internal owner of programmatic partner management and the partner evaluation process. This will include coordinating quarterly business reviews, evaluating strategic optimizations, and managing technical escalations
  • Gather, evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests from internal and external stakeholders and act as the single point of contact responsible for communicating development timelines
  • Drive awareness on programmatic business trends, new technologies and best practices, and proactively communicates them with all stakeholders
  • Create ad hoc analyses, POVs, recommendations for new business or partnership opportunities
  • Present to executive-leadership on progress and provide status updates on key initiatives
  • Help develop Programmatic monetization strategy in partnership with Sales and Yield.
  • Partner with Yield and Operations to establish Programmatic best practices. Develop pricing, inventory segmentation and floor management strategies and establish high-level KPIs that allow Effectv to monitor and optimize the overall health of its Programmatic business
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of OTT ad serving and Client vs Server-Side Ad Serving
    • Strong understanding of OpenRTB spec and impact of data on monetization
    • Good understanding of DSP and SSP auction dynamics
