Marketing Specialist - Institutional Client Group

MIM is currently seeking highly motivated professionals to join its Institutional Client Group (ICG) in a role that will focus primarily on assisting our Distribution Support Group ("DSG") team with emphasis on Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and production of the firm's marketing materials (pitchbook and factsheets). This role will provide a tremendous opportunity to develop relationships across the organization, including key subject matter experts across investment teams, business development, operations, legal, compliance, and technology. The role will require an acute ability to successfully work within tight deadlines and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the RFP team in constructing competitive and professional RFPs for new business development opportunities across all regions and asset classes offered by MIM.
  • Maintain and improve the firm's RFP repository (Qvidian) which is utilized by RFP writers across all asset classes.
  • Support the consultant database population efforts.
  • Provide assistance to the marketing material team to ensure pitchbooks and factsheets are updated on a timely and accurate basis for use by our ICG and investment teams, worldwide.
  • Catalogue DSG projects and deliverables within Salesforce to ensure the efficient tracking of deliverables across the team.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:
  • Possess a strong degree of attention to detail
  • Have a proven track record of handling high volume projects under tight deadlines with measurable results
  • Be a self-starter who is able to work autonomously and successfully lead projects with limited oversight
  • Have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal


Preferred:
  • Prior experience drafting RFPs specifically for institutional asset managers who offer public fixed, private capital or real estate investment strategies
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field
  • Experience using Qvidian, Salesforce CRM, SharePoint, TaskRay, eVestment Analytics and eVestment Market Lens
