With the goal of ensuring the highest quality of operations and services, you'll be responsible for capacity planning, scheduling, monitoring work volumes and workflow, looking for opportunities to adjust staffing, scheduling and work queues. You'll interface with site leaders to ensure adequate staff, contingency plans and workflow monitoring. This is no small opportunity.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 7:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to ensure consistent methodologies are followed to maintain quality and support the preparation of ad hoc analysis that enables strong understanding of the business.

*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Use a variety of tools, such as; workforce management software, work volume history, average work completion and turnaround times to help manage daily staffing levels and to determine the most effective methods for recommending/making staffing adjustments
  • Utilize work performance tools to measure, manage and report on scheduling adherence and conformity
  • Manage work traffic at an intraday level to help ensure that workflow turnaround times are met
  • Gain an understanding of the technical and business solutions: optimized schedules, forecasts and other tools and present them to management
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards and monthly packages
  • Facilitate meetings with leaders and key stake holders; presenting data, analysis and leading dialogue with a focus and emphasis on identifying what actionable business decisions are needed, by what individuals and teams

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a formal workforce role in either a call center, or back office environment
  • 1+ years of experience with workforce systems such as Avaya, CMS, IEX, eWFM, Genesis and/or Blue Pumpkin
  • 1+ years of experience with the IEX workforce platform
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. creating spreadsheets, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) and Microsoft Word (create/edit/save documents)
  • Ability to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 7:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime including weekends

Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher)
  • Proven experience with resource planning

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $17.12 to $30.34.
