Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development and delivery of commercialized solutions (Build/Launch)
  • Demonstrates understanding of the portfolio strategy, market needs, and key questions to be answered at each stage of the product lifecycle
  • Recognizes and proposes business process re-designs and opportunities of efficient to maximize business results
  • Be the liaison between the business partner and the delivery team in the requirements gathering, scoping, capacity needs and UAT of a project
  • Provide subject matter expertise, recognize and analyze gaps between current situation and desired outcome and utilize appropriate resources to obtain information, consider solutions and deliver the solution
  • Participates in activities within each stage (Ideate, Define, Build, Launch, Manage, Sunset)
  • Reviews whole portfolio and considers if products are still relevant based on business and market strategy
  • Makes recommendations and/or decisions on whether to maintain, invest, or end of life based on assessment
  • With additional experience and mastery, work is more self-directed and seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks; May act as a resource for others with less experience
  • Work with cross-functional team to translate customer needs and technology directions into new features and services
  • Support prioritized projects for multiple cross-functional business areas
  • Prioritizes roadmap and articulates a logical, iterative approach to delivering the customer solution
  • Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
  • Manage feature and user story backlog (including grooming and prioritization)
  • May serve as lead product manager in an Agile environment
  • Embrace continuous learning to ensure industry best practices and technology adoption
  • Engages practices and technologies which addresses business problems and adds value to the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and able to work with others during time constraints and meet deadlines
  • Recognize problems and make recommendations / decisions on the best course of action to remediate

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with Healthcare related business analysis
  • 3+ years of experience of translating business requirements into a detailed system specification
  • 3+ years of experience writing User Stories, Requirements, Testing and Collaboration with Development/Engineering Teams
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile software development approach
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile delivery models

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or Equivalent Scrum Product Owner Training
  • Experience with Healthcare Portal frameworks
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes
  • Solid understanding of Healthcare Quality measurements and improvements areas
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer responsibilities

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
