Your Role

The Insights, Capabilities & Analytics team is charged with providing end-to-end insights into the drivers of customer experience, regulatory compliance and operating costs and with partnering cross-functionally to share insights and recommendations for remediation . The business analyst (senior) will report to the Director of Insights, Capabilities and Analytics . In this role you will act as thought leader, influencer, solutionist, collaborator, and communicator. You will partner with key operations and business leaders to collect, analyze and develop data into stories, insights, trends, and dashboards. You'll also represent the Insights, Capabilities & Analytics team in cross-functional meetings, helping stakeholders understand key metrics, insights generated, recommendations made, and hold them accountable for taking action based on insights. You'll need exceptional data story-telling and visualization skills, an understanding of healthcare and call/contact centers, have the ability to effectively present to and influence stakeholders and keep projects and people on-task and on-deadline.

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Provide complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
  • Develop annual operating plans, capital budgets and forecasts, and build business cases for new business initiatives (cost/benefit analysis)
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with complex analysis and data for management review, and present to various levels of management
  • Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
  • Provide analytical support for multiple, complex cross-functional projects simultaneously; establish work plans and timelines
  • Participates on internal/external task forces, committees, and works with stakeholders to provide, drive, and create actionable analytical business insights, reporting dashboards; support for implementation of new programs, applications, products, services, and enhancements of existing applications/systems
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifies management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention
  • Develops story lines to convey the data in a way that captures the attention of internal stakeholder
  • Creates PowerPoint decks to support the telling of data-backed stories
  • Presenting insight-rich, data-backed stories to leadership


Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven understanding of the healthcare industry or call / contact centers is preferred
  • Well-organized, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Strong presentation and data story-telling skills required.
  • Required: Proficiency with MS Office and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Business Objects
