Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support the Air & Space Force Solutions Strategic Systems, Business Operations team. The selected applicant will join the Business Operations team as we seek to deliver world-class capabilities for our client and their associated contractors, driving productivity and innovation. Work will include a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, data collection and management, measuring and monitoring performance, schedule management, planning, and reporting program status internally to program management. Duties also include providing support to our managers and employees, greeting visitors and guests, assisting in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required education:
  • HS/GED with 8+ years work experience or
  • BS with 2+ years work experience or
  • MS
Successful applicant must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates the following:
  • Strong initiative and an ability to organize daily tasks.
  • Strong communications skills (oral and written).
  • Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A fast learner with attention to detail.
The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred, but not required.

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 25 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking; sometimes for long periods of time. Must be able to handle materials safely and perform work in a safe manner as indicated by the situation, while in compliance with local safety standard, rules and procedures.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Concur and Kofax Total Agility
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
  • Good research skills, shows attention to detail, professional, organized and disciplined
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or other office support role
