Title: Measurement & Optimization Strategist

Background & Purpose of the Job

The Measurement & Optimization Strategist is responsible for supporting brand teams in the definition and implementation of measurement strategies, producing meaningful marketing KPI insights and delivering frequent, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights. The role will also involve conducting and advising on web conversion optimization and web personalization. The successful candidate will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background but will have an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge of marketing and total measurement, along with experience in strategic and analytical management of campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop digital learning agendas across all F&R brands and prioritize which business questions require additional investment for advanced measurement
  • Responsible for the delivery of campaign performance reports focusing on key KPIs established in the campaign brief/learning agenda - this will require working with many agency partners to coordinate
  • Support current performance dashboards to easily share insights with marketers, and improve dashboards by adding additional data sources/features - this will require working with many agency and technology partners
  • Perform meta-analyses across campaigns to improve performance for all brands and establish new best practices both locally and globally
  • Investigate new measurement methodologies and research partners
  • Cross functional communication with agencies, global teams, insights, and brand teams to support first-party data performance
  • Assist in website personalization through Adobe Target - working with agency partners and technology teams
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis for key, timely business questions

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Has 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of standard campaign reporting schedules
  • Knowledge of how segmentation is applied in practice within data driven marketing environments
  • Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment
  • Experience in data analysis techniques
  • Ability to use data visualization techniques to tell a story and be able to articulate findings to senior business stakeholders
  • Experience working with reporting, analysis and visualization software, including Adobe Analytics
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Experience working with website optimization tools for A/B and multivariate testing, including Adobe Target
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including: natural and paid search, email, affiliate, display and social
  • Experience driving business value from consumer insight
  • Experience introducing new (digital) services or capabilities at a major organization
  • Experience working with a cross function team, both internal and external
  • Passion for the digital world and its implications for business
