Program Analyst

Overview

Assigned to the Program Management Office, this Analyst is responsible for responsible for facilitating and supporting activities in the Program/Project Management Office (PMO) by analyzing and interpreting, data, reports, and metrics used in supporting project indicators and status. He/she will assist in the development, and implementation of documents required to facilitate the project execution based on the analyst of available resources. The Program/Project Management Office Analyst, analysis business plans for the correct application of resources and in support of all aspects of corporate operating policies and procedures, updates, and statuses, and provides briefings or status updates on project coordination/execution of cost, funding, schedule, and staffing of assigned project areas.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES
  • Conduct direct coordination with, and receive data from program/project personnel and program Teaming Partners, responsible for monitoring/reporting project resources and functions at their respective locations.
  • Provide assessments of the status of governance's process to ensure project management standards are met.
  • Analyze and track program/project non-technical risks, issues, and resource allocations.
    • Staffing status informaiton
    • Maintains and updates the status fo funding allocations.
    • Conduct internal and edternal benchmarking.
    • Coordincates actions between Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Maintains reference information in the portfolio management system, such as calendars, organization and portfolio structures, roles, and other configuration elements in support of conducting analyst.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
  • Laptop, headset, phone, and other office equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Working in an office environment. Currently the postion is working remotely and will be phased in to the office enviroment. Must have a dedicated work space that is limited to distraction.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Work in a virtual setting such as Teams.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs occassionally.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Associate Degree in Management, Business, or Accounting, or extensive experience directly related to the above set of responsibilities.
  • Cost Account Management training/experience.
  • Additional project management training (or willingness to accomplish), up to and including PMP certification desired.
  • NACI clearance required - Must obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) to operate systems and enter Fort Bragg installation and select facilities.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate up and down the organizational structure.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies
  • Troubleshooting and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with office management tools and services,e.g., Microsoft Office Professional, Microsoft Teams especially MS Excel

SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • No supervisory or budget responsibilities.
