Our location in Abbott Park, Illinois currently has an opportunity for a Transparency Analyst.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsible for supporting Americas Hub transparency reporting and financial compliance. This role would involve working with multiple Abbott divisions, internal and external parties, and subject matter experts under the direction of the Manager of Sunshine Compliance.Successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to different Abbott business processes, project management experience, and further his or her professional development.

Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze data that is submitted in compliance with the Federal Sunshine Act, various State Transparency Laws and Codes of Conduct, as well as for the Grassley Act. Ensure all corporate deadlines relating to the submission of data are met.
  • Coordinate all health care disclosure spending initiatives, including the creation and implementation of the process to ensure compliance with all corporate, federal and state requirements for tracking and reporting health care expenditures.
  • Maintain and execute Americas Hub procedures and processes, as necessary, to ensure compliance with the corporate transparency policy and guidance document on the tracking and reporting of interactions with HCPs and HCOs.
  • Create awareness of the Federal Sunshine Act and the various State Transparency Laws and Codes of Conduct across various functional areas for multiple divisions, through training or other means deemed appropriate.
  • Support ad hoc review and research of data submitted in compliance with the Federal Sunshine Act, various State Transparency Laws and Codes of Conduct, as well as for the Grassley Act, as requested by corporate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of applicable experience in diversified roles; strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, and oral/written communication skills
  • Experiences in audit, accounts payment, and compliance preferred
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to complete assignments on time , as this role interacts with multiple levels and functional areas
  • Self starter and highly motivated; ability to manage multiple priorities and changing customer demands; capable of working independently
  • Strong PC/system skills and Excel; SAP experience a plus; Must be comfortable with process, systems and data
