Who are you?

You are an accomplished overseer of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, managing the many moving pieces of completing quality proposals for client consumption. With finance and risk management skills, you are an agent with many hats that you leverage strategically to track down the resource projections, pricing and plans for execution you need to build your story.

As you manage the process with RFP teams, timelines and the expectations of the client, you are a poised, diplomatic and engaged leader, dedicated to quality and a positive outcome for everyone involved. Qualifications

What do you need to have?
  • 2-5 years of industry experience with proposals development
  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Undergraduate degree or international equivalent required; Advanced degree or international equivalent preferred
  • Advanced excel skills required.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing? The Proposal Manager manages the timely production of accurate proposal budgets and strategy documents through liaison with other PRA departments and colleagues. Participates in the resolution of proposal-related and daily operational issues as they arise. Responsible for day to day management of assigned RFP workload and coordination with RFP team members to ensure successful delivery of proposals. Works with proposals team and business development to support client relationships and consistency of deliverables.
  • Lead proposal development team to prepare quality, timely proposals for complex studies or high profile clients that support business and financial objectives.
  • Review proposal outputs for consistency, clarity, and compliance with client RFP requirements as well as PRA proposal development guidelines, processes, and methodology.
  • Review proposal materials for risk and escalate any areas of concern.
  • Participates in financial strategy planning to maintain pricing rules and discounts and produce payment terms, ensuring standardization across proposals for a client both in costing and strategic and operational approaches.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the assigned RFP team through completion of a proposal, including best practices and overall quality deliverable.
  • Provides leadership to the RFP team in the implementation of quality initiatives and processes, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Participates in client discussions to develop strategic programs and tactical execution plans.
