Sr. Test Lead

The Test Lead job is accountable for requirements, traceability, tooling, designing, automating and executing test strategies and test plans for Products/Services.

The Test Lead is directly responsible and accountable for coordinating the day to day activities of the test team for an individual testing phase, e.g. SIT, UAT, OAT, etc.; with some level of complexity and scope and delivering the test phase on time and within budget, while meeting all quality objectives. This applies to all testing activities to support the quality assurance and control of the test phase. The Test Lead coordinates planning and execution and supports the Test Manager/Program Manager in Initiation and Close Out.
  • Responsible to build US E2E SIT Test plan and walkthrough and securing sign-offs
  • Review and maintain Traceability Matrix, Test Data and Batch Calendar
  • Schedule SIT planning meetings and coordinate inputs to the Test Plan from the Work Stream Business and Technology partners
  • Perform Testing Risk Assessment - Functional Design level for System Test
  • Review SIT - System Test Scenarios and Systems Test Cases
  • Execution Scheduling, Tracking and Defect Management at local side
  • Work with the Scrum Team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
  • Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
  • Inform the test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
  • Plan SIT shakeout, P2P and E2E SIT testing
  • Document Test Phase Completion Certificate
  • Review and Sign off - SIT and UAT Test Phase Completion Certificate
  • Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / University degree.
  • 6-10 years' experience in test management with Financial Technology back ground
  • Experience in Payments and Global Liquidity and Cash management testing preferred
  • 3+ years' experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience with test management /automation tools - Jira, Tosca, API Testing, Agile framework
  • Ability to effectively use complex analytical, and problem solving techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and lead onshore and offshore teams
