Job Description
BAE Systems has a job opening for a Windows System Administrator for forensic network on the Security Investigations and Forensics Team. The System Administrator will conduct administrative support and compliance activities in a networked Windows environment. The candidate will have experience working in a compliance-driven environment, performing updates and patches while adhering to an enterprise change management program. The candidate will be familiar with federal compliance requirements NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and CMMC, and be willing to perform functions to actively support documentation related to compliance. System Administrator will work closely with team members, both remote and on-site, to ensure network administration and compliance activities do not impede scheduled case work. The System Administrator will help move the current Windows workstation network into a virtual environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Demonstrated experience and skills in the following:
  • Experience managing a network of Windows workstations.
  • Experience with virtual servers.
  • Knowledge and skills to maintain forensic network in accordance with NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and CMMC requirements and in accordance with enterprise configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge and skills to install, configure, and perform maintenance/upgrades for Access Data's Forensic Toolkit (FTK).
  • Knowledge and skills to develop and maintain documentation such as NIST 800-171 related compliance documentation, Visio network and cabling diagrams, configuration guides, user tutorials, user and system requirements specification documentation, use cases, processes, procedures, and CONOPs.
  • Ability to evaluate security requirements, future growth requirements, resource requirements, technical assessments, technology benchmarking, and network architecture review.
  • Creative problem solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Knowledge and skills to anticipate and respond to changing priorities in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge and skills to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and skills to collaborate with and provide support to internal and external customers.

  • Rohos
  • Forensic Toolkit (FTK)

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience
  • Must be eligible to possess a final US Secret Security Clearance
