Job Description

We are seeking engineers who are passionate about the successful deployment of commercial systems employing deep learning and computer vision. As we transmit video and other situational information in real-time from our clients’ devices to their command centers, we turn this data into actionable intelligence that helps to keep people safe. If you are someone who has automated evaluation for video or machine learning systems and is also comfortable learning and inventing new test technologies – come join our team!

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of an automation framework for online and offline evaluation of video systems

• Help defining proper performance metrics

• Ensure that video solutions produce the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industry

• Continually improve the quality of our software and hardware products through the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

• Mentor personnel to grow their career and develop new skills

• Drive productivity and efficiency via automation and metrics

• Develop processes and metrics to ensure the team is operating efficiently and productively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in System Test, Functional Test and Test Automation

• 3+ years of object-oriented Python programming

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience

• Understanding of statistical test methodologies

• Experience developing test harnesses for unit testing and regression testing

• A team player with creative and innovative approaches to solving challenges

• Excellent written and oral communications skills

• Comfortable “owning” and maintaining large code infrastructure and codebase

• Proven history of test-to-break mentality

Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following skills and experience

• Experience with automated evaluation of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Computer Vision Applications

• Experience with C++ and GTEST

• Familiarity with database design

• Experience with surveillance and security products

• In-depth understanding of cameras, networking, and the Linux OS

• Working experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks e.g., Bamboo or Jenkins

• Expert knowledge in Docker containerization and related infrastructure

• Familiarity with running security vulnerability scanning tools, e.g., Fortify, WhiteSource

• Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline
