The PremierOne CAD team develops software for public safety organizations to manage public safety responders workflow and operational intelligence management. We build products to serve large cities that need sophisticated, customized workflows to smaller municipalities that need cost effective, end to end solutions. All of our systems are built scalable and highly reliable. We provide both cloud and on-premises solutions.
These efforts are all in support of our hybrid cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of the Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, and records and evidence solutions for critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Our services use cloud computing infrastructure on Azure to build at scale.
The .NET software Developer/Engineer works on a suite of products that get deployed on-premise, as well as in Azure Cloud. The Developer works with various other roles within Engineering (like business analysts and testers) as well as Product Management, Field, Support, Deployment teams and customers. As part of this role, you would participate in the analysis of requirements, understand how customers interact with the system, design and develop solutions that are critical to customers operations. You would also help the Field and Support teams with triaging of critical issues that they face during deployment and user operations, and help resolve those issues.
We are looking for Software Developers / Engineers who love challenges and have experience building large and complex software solutions.
Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or related field
4+ years of experience in developing large and complex software in a professional context
Experience with .NET full stack development, including C# and Microsoft SQL
Strong communication skills and ability to work with various roles inside and outside of the organization
Ability to troubleshoot and strong systematic approach to problem solving
Great attitude and always willing to continually improve the product and environment
Be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Nice to Haves
Knowledge/experience in Cloud technologies, Azure DevOps, pipelines, Azure SQL, Azure Alerts, Azure AD, Dockers / Containers and App Insights
Powershell scripting knowledge/experience
Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development
Knowledge of client-side and server-side application performance scaling and optimization techniques
A passion for learning design principles, design patterns, anti-patterns, and highly maintainable code
Experience with enterprise grade / complex mission-critical transactional systems
This position is subject to working in high-security areas, which are governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a fingerprint background-checks, to be administered by Motorola Solutions and its customers upon demand.
Bachelors degree and 4+ years of experience .NET full stack development, including C# and MS SQL
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
