Texas Instruments is actively seeking a Facilities Electrical Module Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians in the execution of the strategic vision of the RFAB Facilities Electrical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of the strategic vision of the RFAB Facilities Electrical team in an inclusive and engaging environment.
  • Support career planning and development of the Electrical team, and proactively resource team.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, efficient operations the electrical system utilizing alarm management, capacity vs. demand analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Interface and communicate with Facilities and Fab management, as well as engineering and manufacturing partners to comprehend and resolve system issues.
  • Oversee specification, procurement, installation, and implementation of facilities systems equipment.
  • Coordinate the planning and managing of electrical capital projects in support of capacity expansion ahead of demand, as well as reliability/safety/efficiency improvements. Participate in forecasting of capital plans/roadmap and capital request.
  • Supervise and lead system engineers, technicians, and contractors in strategic and tactical activities through the use of the WWF Maintenance Strategy Guidelines and FMS.
  • Establish and maintain a maintenance budget. Seeking ways to reduce cost while improving safety and system stability. Participating in regular expense reviews.
  • Develop and review of maintenance procedures and programs with the team to ensure use of best practices in preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with WWF Safety and Quality programs, including regular assessments of work performed in the field.
  • Support/lead continuous improvement efforts within the plant in terms of production/labor efficiency, reliability, quality, 5S, ergonomics, health/safety, and environmental issues.
  • Actively support corporate ESH programs and policies.
  • Maintain monthly utility tracking.
  • Ensure team compliance to all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage any factory excursion and safety related concerns that occur.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • 5 years of relevant experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Willingness to provide technical and call-in support for the 24-hour operations team

Preferred qualifications:

  • Outstanding organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong leadership qualities with ability to positively influence overall team performance and earn followership
  • Demonstrated teaching/coaching skills
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Basic financial management acumen
  • Highly proficient in use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
