As a Software Development Engineer for our major audiobook client, you will define, design, and test software components and applications. The work:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will:

  • Design, test and deliver complex custom applications designed to enable change for the client

  • Define a design, write, and review maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code for software components

  • Work in an Agile environment – clarify technical requirements and deliver on schedule

  • Influence and inspire your peers and stakeholders with technical expertise and decision-making

  • Be proficient in a broad range of data structures and algorithms, knowing when it is (and isn’t) appropriate to use them

  • Drive continuous improvement of software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of products/features

  • Clearly and effectively communicate with client and team in a professional manner


For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience (not including internship/project work)

  • Minimum of 2 years of Full Stack Java programming experience including testing and automation

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems History of assuming responsibility for a team’s architecture and providing a system-wide view to stakeholders

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience of AWS Infrastructure-as-a Service

  • Bachelor's degree (or a minimum 12 years’ work experience), or an Associate’s Degree with a minimum 6 years’ of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competent at solving complex problems

  • Proficient in Full stack engineering (e.g., Java, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, node.js)

  • Experience delivering complex software systems to internal or external customers

  • Experience conducting assessments, building blueprints and roadmaps, building proofs of concept, and writing technical points of view

  • Able to establish good working relationships with team members and client. Able to take part in constructive dialogue to resolve different point of views.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
