Your Role

The scope and nature of work will evolve as the new organization evolves from a period of TSA (transition services agreements) support with Unilever to standalone.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager FP&A and Commercial Finance Americas and is an integral member of the Americas Finance team.

As an Associate Finance Manager in the North America finance team, you will be largely responsible for the accurate consolidation of Americas financial plans and forecasts across North America and Latin America inclusive of Retail, Food Solutions, International and eCommerce. Within North America, you will play a lead role in monthly Sales & Operating planning/forecasting. You will drive forward a digitally enabled financial planning, reporting and analytics suite and fully define protocols for information sharing and storage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consolidation of Americas forecasts and results

  • Ensure monthly volume forecasts and P&L are accurately reflected in our planning systems.

  • Ensure Gross Sales and Supply Chain rates are accurate and explained.

  • Collaborate with business units to drive transparency in key plan drivers and capture strategic & tactical risks & opportunities.

  • Design and present results, forecasts, variances, and analytics to leadership.

  • As needed, lead/support North America monthly SOP process.

  • Partner with cross functional business teams on the management of Trade and Marketing budgets.

  • Deliver data visualization tools to facilitate / drive plan evaluation and insights.

  • Create and maintain Americas reporting suite.

  • Establish and embed strong protocols for managing information.

  • Re-imagine how we store and disseminate financial information leveraging digital tools/capabilities.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant work experience

  • Passion for leveraging tools and technology to drive simplification & maximize value added

  • Practical experience using business intelligence platforms

  • Strong analytical, modeling and problem-solving ability

  • Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to translate complex finance principles to cross functional partners.

  • You’re a dot connector: Partners across the function to identify, drive, and deliver value across the organization.

    You’re a changemaker: Will develop a deep understanding of the business and deliver solutions tailored to finance to streamline processes and bring about digital enhancements.
