Job Description

The Payroll Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating, planning, and scheduling all things related to processing and delivering payroll in a timely fashion.

The master scheduler ensures that all the different processes and schedules are set and followed judiciously so as to attain great efficiency.

  • Create and/or organize a production schedule on a daily basis and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system

  • Manage Case log with Payroll Vendor to understand when improvements and upgrades will be online.

  • Work hand-in-hand with others to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved

  • Work closely with vendor(s) so as to make sure that the company’s needs are adequately met in a timely manner

  • Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies

  • Make sure schedules are given in a timely fashion and that any distortions in the company’s schedule are always accounted for

  • Ensure that there is clear understanding of what is required to meet the delivery and execution schedule

  • Maintain reporting systems to ensure all forms of documentation are accurate and also timely.
