Risk and Controlling Manager
Main Purpose of the Job

A great opportunity becomes available within the MCO Controlling Team in Italy as per 2022. The role will be supporting Italy’s Financial Controller and will be responsible of Unilever Italy’s Risk Management.
This role has many focal points with expertise teams, 3rd party service providers and the MSO business.
Proactive Risk Management
Lead proactive, dynamic risk management and operational controls
Drive efficiency in compliance and control activities in partnership with third party providers
Accountable for financial controls within direct area of responsibility
First point of contact for the external and internal auditors
Key Focus Areas
Continuously improve the quality of accounting & implement changes in accounting standards, policies & procedures
Deliver and implement Localisation 3rd Party Costs
Eliminate, simplify, automate and/or centralise transactional activities
The ideal candidate must have previous experiences in the following areas of expertise:
Risk Assessment on Corporate Processes (business and support) for the purpose of compliance with SOX requirement
Perform and led full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
Knowledge of both Local and International Accounting Standards
Expert in preparation of Annual Financial Statement (both Reporting and Statutory) and accounts maintenance and review
Knowledge of budget controlling
Experience in managing teams, IE: with some activities outsourced to 3rd parties
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
University degree in Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of experience in roles of financial accounting, controlling and risk management within consumer goods or services
Knowledge of PCOB standards, SOX legislation and IFRS standards
Experience working with large complex data from multiple sources
English and Italian proficiency
Knowledge and usage of Enterprise System as SAP
Advanced skills in Google apps and Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel.

Ability in managing local, regional and global stakeholders both Finance and non-Finance
Demonstrated strength in strategy, organization, planning, and analysis, especially with respect to budgets, operations, and projects
Demonstrated ability to work independently, be proactive, curious, and take initiative with minimal direction or guidance, balanced with skill in executing plans and detailed tasks accurately and efficiently
