Role Summary
Reporting directly to the SVP of Regional Business, the AVP Billing & Service Management Reporting plays a key
leadership role in directing activities that support a variety of strategic initiatives for the organization as well as
providing critical business operations support. The key responsibility is to drive direct accountability for delivery of
transformational billing solutions for our Group Benefits customers. This position will also work closely across
Regional Business to redefine and operationalize management reporting to ensure we have capacity and associate
reporting aligned to execution of the business plan across all functions
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and empower a multi-function team to deliver value-driven business operations support aligned to key
strategic initiatives and critical business needs.
· Lead in partnership with the Vice President of Regional and Small Business (RBSB) Service and
Implementation, to ensure the capacity modeling and resource plan are fully aligned to the strategic focus
and day to day execution of the business.
· Overall accountability for the billing, remittance, and eligibility functions across group insurance. This
includes meeting all SLAs and broker/customer satisfaction with the billing & eligibility process.
· Empowered and expected to anticipate, identify, and resolve organizational/strategic issues. Lead and
facilitate strategic billing projects and initiatives to improve the customer experience. Overall responsibility
to drive solutions and implementation across functions.
· Responsible for budget for RBSB Service & Implementation, headcount / hiring requests, managing attrition
and communication for VP RBSB Service & Implementation.
· Ensure quality tools are applied across the organization to identify and implement controls of quality
assurance at the appropriate process points, to prevent or mitigate risk
· Oversight of budget projections and forecasts for Regional Business through strong collaboration with the
service and finance team. Analyze and present business assumptions, capacity models and growth
projections.

There is a significant need to have one leader own strategic improvements and execution for billing and eligibility
across group insurance. In addition, the need to deliver a consistent approach to capacity and resource planning at
the local office is critical to support an aggressive growth plan.
Qualifications
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
· 10 + years of experience in Insurance working with multiple functions
· Understanding of the Group Benefits space and Brokerage Business.
· Strong financial acumen
· Ability to develop strategic & trusted partnerships with internal & external partners
· Ability to work in fast paced environment
· Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
· Strong Project Management skills
· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Strong collaboration skills, ability to partner across the enterprise.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong analytic skills and ability to think strategically
· Expertise in Excel & PPT
· Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred

The wage range for applicants for this position is $151,000-201K. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives.
