Purchasing Coord I

Are you a detailed organized person interested in starting a career that impacts patient health? Do you have previous experience in purchasing, warehouse, and/or inventory? LabCorp is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator I to join our team in Mobile, AL! This position works within a small team and is responsible for supporting inventory management for the entire Infirmary team.

This position will have hours from 8:00AM- 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Input data and track supply orders as needed.

• Receive packing list as needed.

• Maintain inventory in assigned area

• Upkeep assigned stock room organized

• Transport supplies from loading dock to Lab for dispersement

• Stock items in their assigned lab department

• Assist with conducting monthly inventory including physical counting, data entry, and performing audits on other departments.

• Helps the overall Mobile infirmary and the other locations with resolving supply and or ordering issues.

• Participate in daily or weekly departmental calls

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• At least 1 year of relatable experience in warehouse, inventory, or purchasing preferred

• Pay attention to details

• Strong Microsoft Office computer skills

• Team player

• Positive attitude
