Love Beauty Planet is a “natural” brand spanning across Hair, Hand& Body Lotions and Face with a TO of 50M€ in 2022.

It’s a masstige sensorial brand with highly pleasurable formulas made from ethical, sustainable natural ingredients, and packaged in the best-in-class sustainable options.

The Love Beauty & Planet Assistant Brand Manager will support the Love Beauty & Planet Brand Manager in crafting & driving the agenda for the brand with the ambition to create a more desirable natural purpose led premium brand.

This role will immerse you in innovation strategy, crafting winning mix across both Skin & Hair care with an entrepreneurial mindset. It’s a highly strategic role for someone looking for a good mix of learnings in various aspects such as innovations, comms development, partnering with markets, project management and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Strategy & Roadmap: you will help to define & craft future roadmap across Hair & Skin Care

  • Product & Packaging Development: you will be fully responsible for defining the NPD roadmap for the brand and collaborating with your cross functional team to turn those ideas into reality. You will develop beautiful product sensories and work with our pack design agency to craft stunning designs. You will balance creativity and attention to detail to deliver great products and packs- which are not only great for skin/hair, but also good for the planet.

  • Winning Assets: you will develop comms across Digital / social / e-comm partnering with Other’s say lead and key countries.

  • Project Management: we are a small team, working at speed- this means we need great project management skills. You will co-ordinate and collaborating with a very tight knit, globally diverse project team to make creative things happen on time.

  • Consumer Love: you will build solid consumer understanding across key regions with a focus on India & SEA in order to feed future growth plans.

  • Partnering functions (R&D, CMI, SC & Finance)

  • House of Naturals Roll out lead (South Asia and ROW)

  • Key markets: India, Asia & NA

  • Agencies (coms &design, + global network of U studio-s)

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Curious about beauty, and societal issues in general, skincare & beyond; this is particularly critical in order to establish deep market & consumer understanding across different markets.

  • Passionate about skincare and product / pack design

  • Naturally curious, and constantly scouting for the latest trends in terms of natural beauty, with a particular attention to the “naturals” insurgent brands and how they engage with their audience.

  • A team player, with excellent listening & analytical skills able to build a compelling plan, influence & create alignment.

  • A do-er with entrepreneurial drive, who knows how to make things happen and brings people along.

Must Have experience:

  • A crafter at heart, previous years of experience in Global or Local Jewel.

  • personal interest in beauty

  • product design development skills, including some with high sustainability agenda.

  • Digital Coms development experience

  • Ability to work with multifunctional teams across multiple time zones.

  • Strong track record in project management with good attention to detail & network management

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in Beauty (skin, hair)

Location

In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond. Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs.  These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
