Team Summary
QWA is responsible for all design thinking activities throughout the Advisory Practice service offerings. QWA demonstrates expertise to map out business processes and compare to best practices to find efficiencies and new solutions for clients. We work with internal and external stakeholders, project teams and subject matter experts (SME’s) providing leadership and holistic solutions for cross-functional business groups specializing in Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Management domain.
Job Description
- The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager oversees projects and ensure that are completed on time and within budget.
- The PMO Manager ensure all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution.
- Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking
- Collaborating with Senior Leadership to scope projects.
- Ensuring the team effectively execute project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
- Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
- Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure the PM are accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
- Define and embed project control and governance
- Manage the QWA Academy (once built) and onboarding program on behalf of the Senior Leadership team.
- Use surveys and monitor feedback to improve Academy and Onboarding content in conjunction with AGS TD and QWA leadership.
- Work with QWA senior leadership and AGS HR, TD and DE&I leaders to ensure QWA is a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Qualifications
- A project management certification is required including PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or any other equivalents.
- Experience of managing a PMO office with globally dispersed talent
- Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 5 to 25 people
- Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects
- Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
- Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
- Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
- Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project
- Line management or team leader experience and focus on people development
- Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
- Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business
- A minimum of eight years project management experience, ideally across technical and people focused projects
- A minimum of two years of management experience, ideally remotely
- Experience in building onshore/near shore and offshore teams advantageous.
