Description
The Network Operations team is responsible for the operation and support of ConocoPhillips’ global WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), cloud and other networking solutions. The Network Systems Analyst role is part of the Network Systems sub-team that administers various network management, automation, and monitoring tools; and provides various network support functions such as circuit provisioning, inventory management, and policy compliance. The primary focus of this role is telecommunication circuit provisioning.
You may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement.
Your responsibilities may include\:
- Provision various telecommunication circuits as required
- Coordination with service providers to facilitate service installations, changes, and disconnects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Manage carrier vendor relationships
- Placement of orders via multiple carrier systems
- Liaison with Finance and Supply Chain functions on circuit contracts and billing activities
- Partner with network engineers and business partners to determine circuit connectivity needs
- Evaluate service options for availability, function, and cost
- Ensure proper circuit inventory management and compliance with policies, standards, and best practices
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedural standards relating to circuit provisioning
Basic/Required\:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
- Less than 1 year of experience with circuit provisioning
Preferred\:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information System (MIS), Information Technology, other related field or foreign equivalent
- 3 years experience with circuit provisioning
- 3 years of experience with Asset Management tracking systems (Service Now) and Tangoe/Command
- Intermediate knowledge of telecommunications services and concepts
- Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
- Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
- Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
