Project Engineer - Dallas

Position can only be perform in person.Position Description:Provide programmatic and engineering support to project operations and execute and coordinate project deliveries and material hand-offs in collaboration with project team, vendors, and SourceBlue central organization.Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:In collaboration with General Contractor (GC) develop project-specific delivery template to capture project material needs and need by dates to ensure timely project deliveries and sequencing.Manage detailed schedule delivery plan in alignment with project schedule and demands, adjust as [Register to View] on project site daily to engage with GC for validating project schedule updates.Review procurement packages to understand scope of work for each project vendor and integrator.Conduct follow up with vendors and integrators to confirm schedule commitments, ensure on time delivery, confirm trucking priorities, and ensure loading of trucks per prior agreement.Review project submittals and shop drawings to understand approved materials for each submittal package and delivery method.Support change order review and provide onsite analysis (e.g., confirm lengths, quantities) and report findings back to central Engineering team.Ensure readiness of receiving areas for environmentally sensitive equipment. Prior to delivery, obtain proof of data (e.g., at least 72 continuous hours) to ensure storage area meets environmental requirements.Conduct inventory of SourceBlue delivery trucks and obtain appropriate chain of custody signature from GC for all items delivered to project site.Collaborate with Operations Metro Lead to assist resolving project issues with vendors, integrators, GC, and Owner’s Representatives.Understand project documentation system to access and upload project-specific folders and maintain timely and comprehensive project documentation, including photography, meeting minutes, As-Built conditions, and other documentation.Conduct vendor and integrator factory visits, as needed, to confirm adherence to quality program and on-schedule manufacturing.Assist in attaining and uploading vendor and integrator close-out documentation per contract document.Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
