Warehouse Shop Assistant - Construction
lt;pgt;lt;stronggt;Position Description:lt;/stronggt;amp;nbsp;Responsible for assisting with facilitating shop operations and asset management.lt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;Reports to:lt;/stronggt;amp;nbsp; Shop Foreman, Shop Manager, SPO Manager, and Trades Managerlt;brgt;lt;stronggt;lt;brgt;Essential Duties amp;amp; Responsibilities:amp;nbsp;amp;nbsp;lt;/stronggt;lt;brgt; Ability to operate and navigate trucks and trailers to facilitate shop operationslt;brgt; Schedule daily pick-ups and deliveries. Pre-Plan your routes for logistical efficiency and safetylt;brgt; Stock, organize, and rearrange tools and equipment in shop and yardlt;brgt; Maintain fleet, refueling, and registration as neededlt;brgt; Perform required inspections of equipment in yard.lt;brgt; Assist with records of inventory up to date within an asset management software.lt;brgt; Document condition of assets upon delivery and pick-up.lt;brgt; Assist in periodic audits of assets.lt;brgt; Propose other areas to grow and expand the material and equipment services of the shop.lt;brgt; Complete and submit all daily-required shop related documents and reports.lt;brgt; Conduct pre-task plans dailylt;brgt; Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and or property damage.lt;brgt; Ensure security of property.lt;brgt; Maintain the physical condition of the shop and perform regular maintenance.Keep shop premises neat and clean.lt;brgt; Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skidsteer, excavator, and aerial liftslt;brgt; Obtain and maintain training/licensing for equipment used and/or supplied by the shop.lt;brgt; Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required and ensuring Trade employees/subcontractors compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsite securitylt;brgt; Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employeeslt;brgt; Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as neededlt;brgt; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.lt;brgt; Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.lt;/pgt;lt;pgt;amp;nbsp;lt;/pgt;lt;pgt;lt;span style="background-color: #FFFFFF; color: #FFFFFF"gt;#LI-ZO1lt;/spangt;lt;/pgt;

Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
