Business Analyst

Job Description BAE systems is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) with proven hands-on experience analyzing business requirements, technical processes, capturing requirements as functional and technical requirements. Sr. BA represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Sr. BA coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.

Sr. BA may also lead testing and be responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution, and tracking of functional and technical requirements from initiation through integration testing in support of large and complex technology projects.

Responsibilities
Identifies business needs and stakeholder requirements, analyzes requirements to define scope, objectives and feasibility.
Develops, analyzes and maintains new or current system processes and workflows.
Develops User stories and acceptance criteria supporting the Product Owner
Collaborates with cross-functional IT stadd to support streamline solution implementation
Provides functional support to end-users in area of expertise
Develops and executes test plans and scripts, as well as other quality assurance measures; lead testing such as user acceptance, performance, security, usability, etc
Ensures Business, Functional and Technical Requirements Traceability is documented and maintained throughout all test cycles to deployment.
Develops and implements strategies around automated testing for the purpose of regression testing.
Maintain relationships with vendors, work with vendors on new features, bug fixes and proper use of products
Prioritizes and as necessary escalate issues/concerns consistent with the governance model when potential impacts to project schedule or quality may result.
Develops the procedure that will be used for the documentation, review, and sign off the integration test scenarios.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree with 10 years relevant experience.
Must have past experience as Business Analyst and testing lead in large software development and deployment and/or Commercial-off-the-shelf software configuration and integration
Must be knowledgeable in technical and functional operations of software and IT organization
Must be capable of asking probing questions and be an effective listener.
Must have excellent ability to communicate with ability to facilitate working meetings and requirements gathering sessions with all levels of business and technical stakeholders
Must have excellent ability to think critically, evaluate information gathered and present ideas.
Must possess excellent documentation and writing skills with strong background and experience in problem solving.
Must have the ability to ensure that testing exit criteria are met before E2E testing is deemed complete.
Must be able to create the End-to-End Test Closure Summary and presentation to the project team.
Must be able to coordinate testing logistics including readiness of testing environment, tester logins, roles & responsibilities and execution of testing.
Must have experience participating in or leading system testing for large projects and familiarity with tools used to track issues and status.
Must have experience with Agile development and testing practices.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with enterprise-level Software-as-a-Service solutions;
Understanding of BAE Systems organizational structure and norms.
Should be experienced in a broad range of business applications/domains and development methodologies.
Able to develop and implement strategies around automated testing for the purpose of regression testing.
