Sr Principal Systems Engineer

Electronic Combat Systems is looking for experienced Systems Engineering I&T Leads to lead small and medium teams supporting technical development and fielding on a program within our defense portfolio. As a Systems Engineering I&T Lead you will be responsible for managing integration content, creating test schedules, leading a team, and owning cost accounts on our Electronic Warfare systems. We are focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare solutions through the lifecycle of system development on schedule and within cost.


Job responsibilities may include:
Interpretation of systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
Identifying integration needs and planning
Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems team
Execution of systems integration, test, and sell-off
Manage integration team and participation in Program management and customer meetings.
Present findings at progress reviews internally or with customers

Full-time onsite:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Must have experience in a technical discipline (software, hardware, systems)
Must have experience developing a product
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience as a Systems Engineering Lead and leading small teams
Understanding of programmatic Schedule and Cost
Experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions
Experience with Integration and test
Experience with technical performance measurements
Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems
RF / FPGA IV&V skills to include lab debug and analysis work.
