Jr. Data Link 16 Analyst
Job Description Perform operations support for simulation systems. Collaborate with the Government and other Contractor personnel to coordinate test and operation activities for the installed simulation systems in accordance with priorities and objectives for each supported facility. Perform pre-test planning, configure and operate simulation systems, monitor and analyze test results and provide post-test reporting and documentation of test results for each event supported. Establish and operate secure communications links within multiple labs and remote sites. Develop and maintain scenarios and scripts for simulation systems. Support integration testing of scenarios with the application computer program. Maintain versioning and configuration management of scenarios and scripts. Distribute scenarios and scripts to all supported facilities. Maintain configuration management and a record of all Configuration Review Board (CRB) approved Software Change Requests (SCRs) made to scenarios and support files. Utilize configuration management utilities to maintain traceability of modifications to support configuration files. Maintain revision history of support configuration files. Perform testing in support of Government acceptance of MLST3 software delivered by SPAWAR. Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports documenting results. Maintain records of operation activities on the assigned simulation systems. Some examples include test schedules, test logs, test reports and problem reports for simulation systems.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Two (2) years specific experience as follows:
Experience conducting advanced tactical data link engineering and analysis.
Experience identifying interoperability requirements and testing methodologies to ensure all modeling and simulation tools maintain interoperability standards.
Experience troubleshooting and isolation of hardware and software issues and a basic knowledge of the tactical data links discipline.
Active Secret clearance.
