Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO)
Job Description This person serves as the Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) who will support the Intelligence Solutions (I&S) Business Unit of the I&S Headquarters operation providing assistance with oversight of the Mclean, VA programs. Duties will include document control, program briefings, access control, alarm tests, new hire orientation and badging, assisting with active proposals (including after hour support to the proposal teams and invoicing and wrapping for delivery), and alternating 24/7 duty phone assignment. As AFSO, this person assists in managing program activities to ensure compliance with DoD policies at Top Secret/SCI sites with Top Secret SCI safeguarding, and must comply with all government regulations.
Must have a working knowledge of the NISPOM, ICD’s, and SEAD’s. Must be customer service oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Demonstrated experience within the security community.
- Experience in many facets of security to include physical, industrial, and CI.
- Knowledge of the NISPOM, SEAD's, and ICD's.
- Applicant must have a Top Secret clearance to be considered and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- ISP Certification
- Knowledge of SIMS
- Experience with a FOCI Company
