Job Description BAE Systems is developing advanced Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems in support of the Electronic Warfare (EW) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) business areas. These systems are installed across a wide variety of platforms and serve multiple purposes such as situational awareness and intelligence gathering which generally requires advanced detection and processing techniques. The Signals Exploitation Capability Group is a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team which provides engineering talent, technical expertise and new technology and research to the BAE Systems Electronic Systems Defense Sector.

The Signals Exploitation Capability Group is looking for an experienced engineer to work as part of a high impact, technically oriented team developing and integrating algorithms to exploit communications and radar signals. The work will include individual technical contribution on a related range of programs and internal research projects involving the simulation, design, development, test, documentation and deployment of digital signal processing algorithms for signals exploitation.

Technical Responsibilities:
This position will involve developing and implementing new techniques for communication signals with application in SIGINT, ESM, and Electronic Warfare systems and performing systems engineering functions such as analyzing signals, performing trade studies, developing and validating techniques in a laboratory environment, and performing systems level integration and test.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

  • MUST have an active or current Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Proficiency with object oriented design/development in support of Digital Signal Processing capabilities
  • Have solid experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with software defined radios/waveforms
  • Bachelors Degree or Masters in related engineering field
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with CUDA libraries on GPUs
  • Experience with Agile development and DevSecOps
  • Experience coordinating/leading development and integration testing
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
