Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
The Role:
In this role, you will:
Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity
Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture and analysis in area of domain expertise
Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity
Conduct root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for software/hardware designs.
Provide engineering assistance to production, service, and repair personnel
Provide technical support for electronics hardware architecture and design and trade study development for Navigation and Sensor Systems
Contribute to engineering program pursuits and bid estimates

- Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
- Must have 5+ years of experience working with electronics/electrical design and/or test
- Be capable of hands-on troubleshooting using engineering lab equipment
- Design experience including experience with schematic capture tools and PCB layout supervision and guidance to board designers
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner and produce detailed, clear and concise technical documentation
- US Citizenship is required
- Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
- Prefer candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of EM/circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS and or AWR Microwave Office is desired
- Experience with military aerospace testing standards is desired
