Lathe Machinist – Weekends
Description
Job Description:Leidos is seeking talented Lathe Machinist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities
The CNC Lathe Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus. Mill-turn experience is a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Candidates must have at least three (3) years of precision machining experience
Applicant must be able to work a full-time, Weekend shift
