Overview

  • Vectrus specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an employment opportunity for a Logistics Analyst to assist with the daily operations of contractor support.


Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics support to coordinate property management, execute all material movement and shipping, disposition of excess government property, GSA vehicle maintenance, and assist in coordinating building maintenance and modifications.
  • Disposition Management - determine disposition methods of numerous types’ equipment to include identifying proper authority for disposition, instructing users on proper preparation of equipment for disposition IAW established policies, coordinate transportation support, and provide logistics plans. Identify and provide logistics plans in support of classified/unclassified projects.
  • Manage the GSA Fleet Vehicle inventory - Inventory management of vehicles, metro-cards, EZ-Pass, GPS, and related vehicle safety equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance, schedule services, cleaning, and recalls, submit mileage reports and various financial documents, brief higher government officials on accountability, status, incidentals, and aid in the drafting of the program GSA Fleet Vehicle Policy
  • Facilities Maintenance -Function as the facilities representative for all outside work crews and project coordinators. Monitor project status, estimated completion dates and options to mitigate the potential impact caused by modification or construction work. Plan and schedule site inspections for safety, monitor and update Emergency Action Plan continuously, monitor incoming and outgoing personnel to adequately account for available space for future seating requirement changes.
  • Property Book – maintain records of PMO accountable property. Coordinate with IT Logistics and the Configuration Manager for all IT equipment. Track all GFE provided to contractors IAW FAR and DoD and Navy directives. Order supplies and equipment as required to support the mission needs. Maintain bench stock as required.
  • Material Support - Research technical data for items of supply, receive and process requisitions into a Federal approved supply system. Verify and monitor available funds and future funding while drafting Simplified Acquisition Purchase Requests for program support. Act as the on-site shipping & receiving agent for all incoming and outgoing controlled equipment. Draft a DD-1149 to account for and show change of custody of equipment. Act as, and maintain requirements to be, an official courier authorized to transport U.S. government classified material.
  • Travel throughout the continental U.S. is required and is estimated to be about 20%.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret /SCI clearance.
  • Experience:
    • 5 years' experience in a logistics role
  • Desired Experience:
    • Kaba Mas X10 certification
