The Public Health Portfolio of Leidos is seeking a Senior Functional Support Analyst in Atlanta, GA to support the CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program.

This CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program assists the CDC in migrating over 400 applications from on-premises to cloud solutions.

The Senior Functional Support Analyst is responsible for working with the client to understand the application’s functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Functional Support Analyst will:

• Work with the client to understand the application’s functional requirements. Be able to translate functional requirements into user stories that can be used by the development and testing resources to develop and test the application. The Functional Analyst is expected to develop functional expertise in various aspects of the delivery lifecycle including:
  • Participating in requirements sessions, creating general designs, performing assembly testing, and supporting development efforts for multiple functional areas within the team
  • Providing functional support to Developers, testers, and System Analysts
  • Supporting the resolution of production issues and data cleanup efforts through functional analysis and testing.

Requirements:

BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience with software development and maintenance practices and methodologies (especially requirements, design, and testing phases)
• Knowledge of information systems and current computer technology.
• Familiarity with SQL, and XML, environment.
• Familiarity with web and reporting technology

Preferred:

3+ years of experience working with the CDC

Fluent in SQL queries preferred

Fluent in XML analysis and/or XML-based standards, e.g., HL7 CDA a plus

Strong familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus

Ability to Obtain NACI clearance

Must be located in the US

Preference given to local to Atlanta area
