Overview

  • Responsible for all admin actions regarding data management, process improvement, website and SharePoint maintenance.


Responsibilities

  • Modernize DB (Access, SharePoint) to include tables, queries, relationships, forms and reports as well as customize configuration options. Manage and design interfaces with forms as well as automate tasks, procedures, and functions with Macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • ID and develop ways to use knowledge management concepts and techniques to accomplish principal program goals of FAST
  • Process improvement change agent. Develops strategies and resources to enhance KM process improvement implementation. Promote knowledge exchange and use of developed strategies and resources within the FAST.
  • Establish, maintain, evaluate, improve processes and reporting on the FAST’s ability to impact the Fleet.
  • Manage virtual presence of the FAST, including existing/future content sites, SharePoint portals, and unique software capabilities.
  • Ensure all messaging efforts and content align with the FAST’s strategic comms plan. Serve as FAST enterprise content manager. Ensures content owners are provided with appropriate KM technologies to develop, maintain, broadcast, and share their respective and explicit knowledge and processes.
  • Determine how knowledge content will be structured, shared (collaboration), controlled, and made accessible to the FAST institutional, operational and force generating communities.
  • Develop policy recommendations and processes for the creation, capture, storage, use, retrieval, and transfer of knowledge content across the USG command and supported customers.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s and 7+ years of experience outlined in the PWS
  • Required Experience
    • 7+ years’ experience in implementing and supporting enterprise Knowledge Management.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and KM software platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow).
    • Experience developing and delivering knowledge sharing improvement strategies.
    • Experience in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data and generating data-driven reports.
